The word CROSS COUNTRY is set into a banner across the foot of the shield, with a star beneath it. Choose a gold-finish, silver-finish or bronze-finish medal.

Every medal in this range carries the sport across the front, so a cross country medal reads as a cross country medal from across the room. It matters most where one evening covers several sports and the boxes have to be kept straight, and it still matters years later, when the medal is in a drawer and nobody remembers which season it came from.
